Sup Had a real good time at Buckethead last night. Probable (in my opinion) one of the top 3 Heston sets of this year. The constant practice for the short 30minute set probable had something to do with it. We were tight and noisy and I thought it went really well. Somehow we got to play second on the Underground stage and somehow there were actually a nice group of people there. We did 3 "rock" songs first with out pauses. Odd to hear people trying to clap between songs (instead of the usually silence) but we didn't pause so they kept getting cut off. Brought out my new and improved Teddy Bear drum with strobe light fashion for "March" and pretty much almost knocked my kit into the ground for the drum bonanza in "Future". Nice to play a rewarding show after a string of "excercises in packing in the car". As always our set ended with a decent chunk of skin torn off my knuckles and me bleeding all over the floor tom. Good times. later Joe
