2004-10-15 - 10:59 p.m. We played at Keene State College today. There were a series of comical errors from DJ Real tearing up parents yard to a misunderstanding about who was providing sound that kept the day interesting. The vibe at the show was a little weird. All these fashionable liberal rich kids made a bunch of arts and crafts political posters and stared at us blankly as we played. The show was put on by the Feminist Collective and thanks to Amy Heston for hooking us up. DJ Real did a good set with alot of new tunes. Haven't seen him play since April so that was a treat. I thought some of his stuff was going to cause a riot with girls there with the posters but it all went ok. We interlocked our sets and we played on 3 of his songs (from his new disc) and he played on 2 of ours. I thought we kind of sucked on the DJ Real tunes and for about half of our set. After discussing things after the show, it seems that we were all playing to the echo of the room instead of what each other was actually playing. The second half of the set was strong so that was cool. Mr Pandolfi was there and I threw my phone reciever on the ground not remembering he was there. I hate to treat his handy work so poorly and I felt bad afterwards. On the way out I told some kid leading a tour to "Suck it Bitch". That was probable my highlight of the day.
