First thing I want to say is the early spring Heston dates are really shaping up. We will be hitting some interesting places which really makes me excited. It will be good stay out of the commercial venues for a little bit. Looks like we will be playing a bowling alley (big maybe)->a Pizza Place->an AM radio station->an internet coffee shop->and a Sub shop. I'm a firm believer that music doesn't need to be played in traditional bars and clubs so this is really cool.
Second I must warns folks about a website started by Mr. Tom Sadlowski. Sadlowski, unable to come up with anything on his own, has purchased the url for one of my phrases and made a really shoddy website out of it. On first visit to www.weirdisthenewgrunge.com , you are immediately overwhelmed with the lack of website design. I mean I've seen 16 year old girls with web blogs that look better than this. Second the content is pitiful. It shows that Mr. Sadlowski has no comprehension of the 'weird' music genre. For starters, The Lips and Ween are not the 'king and queen' of the movement. They both have had thier music featured in car commercials. Really how weird is that. His listing also gives no props to genre founders such as The Residents or Frank Zappa and his royal family list has so many gaping holes it is almost impossible to take it seriously. Overall this is a waste of a URL that could of lead to a really great site about the upcoming weirdness revolution but Tom has shamelessly wasted it being a jackass. So please kids, email tom at tom@greeneggsentertainment.com and tell him how much of a jackass he really is.
