We started work on our album today. Overall it went pretty well for a first day.
The goal of today was to make sure we could get a decent enough recording out of our present set up. I think it came out ok but I haven't heard the tape back yet. We did a take of Lady Bugs and Potatoes. My home-made ghetto isolation worked out pretty well so I was happy.
After fooling around with that for a few hours, we were invited to a Birtday Party for Nick's Dad. They wanted us to play on the porch so we put together a quick "stripped down" Heston set. The food was totally rockin and our set was passable for a un rehearsed porch set.

After that we dicked around a little bit before packing up and heading home. Day 2 at Heston Labs Studio is Wednesday.
