2003-08-02 - 12:21 p.m. Red Car, Green Car, White Car was a success. Ended up all the gear was able to fit in just Green Car, Red Car! How about that. After trasnfering all our gear and trying our best not to get stuck by glass we headed out to Norwich. Once we got there we unloaded the gear and got stuck with more glass. We were supposed to be playing pretty early in the evening but everything was off so we were pushed back a bit. At first I was happy to be pushed back a bit but then realized we were pushed pretty much to the end. That would of been fine but the slow decline of people out of there left us with only around 10 people left by the time we played. Oh well, we cut the set in half and did the best we could in one of the most horrible sounding rooms you could ever imagine. Everybody seemed to of liked the set, even the crazy drunk guy who was there harrassing people all night. We got to do the Corn Mo cover which was cool. I was a little bummed we ran out of time and weren't able to do it at Webster Underground so it was good to do it at least once. Oh well, 1 show left on the "Weird is the New Grunge" summer tour and it is an odd one. We only have 2 weeks now to get our Madonna covers down.
