Interesting show tonight. We were playing at Webster Underground with our friend DJ Real and Davinci's Notebook. We really were never too psyched for this show but hey a gig is a gig and at the least we would get to see DJ Real play.

When we started loading in we met this super Hyper boy named Miguel. I originally thought he was trying to steal our stuff but after we found out he was on the level, we asked him if he wanted to sit in with us tonight. Being wicked excited (as any 10 year old would be when random strangers ask if you want to play with thier band) he wrote a special song for the occasion. We ended up going first cause DJ Real kicked our ass in ticket sales and this worked out well cause Miguel had to be home by 8. At first I had doubts that the club was going to let this random kid hang out in the venue but he got stamped in and it was all set. We rewrote the set and he opened with a stirring rendition of "Everybody Dance". Good stuff. We played our set (which went well) while he tried to sell our lollipops to people. He was doing a good job of it until I tackled him during "Dirty Girls" and his money went all over the floor (I later gave him a Fiver for being a good sport about everything and he was super happy so all was forgiven).

IF Weird is the New Grunge, then Broken glass is the new Deer hitin'.

We were packing up the car as quick as we could so we could catch DJ Real's set. It was almost all done and a random dude from Davinci's Notebook was out there telling us how he liked our set (which was pretty cool). I went to close the back door of the Subaru of Love when the back window totally shattered! At this point the plans for the night took a slight detour. The Davinci's Notebook guy edged a away at this moment and we had to figure out what we were gonna do. Couldn't leave a car full of gear open in the ghetto of Hartford, so we packed up and went home. We were bummed we missed everyones set but what can you do.

A little unclear how all the gear will make it to Norwich tomorrow but I think they current plan of red car, white car, green car will work.
